In 1993, spooky family comedy, Hocus Pocus conjured its way into cinemas. The movie – directed by Kenny Ortega – followed the story of three children who inadvertently resurrect a trio of witches known as the Sanderson Sisters.

Upon making its debut Hocus Pocus was not a huge hit at the box office and was mostly overlooked. However, thanks to the home video market (as well as TV screenings), Hocus Pocus built up a huge following over the years, becoming a household favourite (particularly around the Halloween season).
