Coming to the Hallmark Channel very shortly is the brand-new drama, Autumn in the City. The movie stars Aimeé Teegarden, Evan Roderick, and Colleen Wheeler, and follows the story of an illustrator and a writer who find a connection through a new book project.
The official blurb for Autumn in the City (via Hallmark) reads as follows: “Piper Grant (Teegarden) moves to New York for a fresh start and to find her career passion. As she bounces between different exciting temp jobs that take her all over the city, she meets Austin Edwards (Roderick), an aspiring writer hoping to emerge from the shadow of his famous journalist mother (Colleen Wheeler).
“While Piper’s sunny optimism is at odds with Austin’s jaded personality, the magic of the autumn season soon brings them closer together. When Piper realises her true passion is illustration, they decide to team up on a children’s book project, and in the process, discover what they’re really searching for just might be each other.”
Playing the role of Piper Grant in the new movie is actress Aimeé Teagarden, who has previously appeared in Hallmark films including My Christmas Family Tree, A New Year’s Resolution, and Once Upon a Christmas Miracle. Meanwhile, playing the part of Austin Edwards is Evan Roderick, who has appeared in television shows such as Arrow, When We Rise, and Spinning Out.
Autumn in the City is a Two 4 The Money Media Inc. production, produced by Kate Gajdosik, with Kim Arnott, Harry Winer, Michael Shepard and Fernando Szew on board as executive producers. The movie is directed by Michael Robison, from a script by Joey Elkins & Blake Silver, which is based on the teleplay by Sheri Davenport.
