If you’re a fan of the Hallmark Channel, and you are looking for some new movies to liven up your sizzling summer evenings, you will be pleased to know that a whole bunch of new films are on their way. Hallmark has announced that four new movies will air in June 2022, as part of the channel’s ‘Summer Nights’ programming block.
The seasonal block will see the debut of one new movie a week throughout the month of June and will begin with the romantic drama, Hidden Gems. Summer Nights will then continue with Caribbean Summer, Moriah’s Lighthouse, and Two Tickets to Paradise.

For those wishing to check it out, Hidden Gems will air in the US on Saturday June 4th at 8/7c, and will star Hunter King and Beau Mirchoff. The film will revolve around a wedding, a missing ring, and the first sparks of love.
The official description for Hidden Gems reads as follows:
“While prepping for her sister’s wedding, Addie (King) loses her grandmother’s ring in the waters of Hawaii. She hires dive instructor Jack (Mirchoff) to search for her lost treasure.
“They immediately clash with each other when Addie insists she go on the pursuit with Jack. Once they come to an agreement, Jack ends up serving as Addie’s tour guide of the island’s hidden gems.”
The second title in Hallmark’s Summer Nights collection is Caribbean Summer, which will air on Saturday June 11th at 8/7c. The movie stars Heather Hemmens and Ser’Darius Blain.
The official plot description for Caribbean Summer reads:
“Jade (Hemmens), a morning news producer, is forced to take a vacation after an embarrassing gaffe during a live broadcast. She arrives to a relaxing Caribbean island, but Jade’s trip gets off to a rocky start thanks to a snafu involving the house she rented for her stay.
“Serendipitously, Jade manages to turn things around and begins a romantic Caribbean adventure with the legitimate owner of the house, a mysterious man named Ford (Blain). As Jade slowly lets her guard down and welcomes all that the island, its people, and her handsome host have to offer, her heart and job come into direct conflict when she finds out the true backstory of the man she’s falling for – and it’s a career-defining scoop.”
Film number three is Moriah’s Lighthouse, which premieres on Saturday June 18th at 8/7c. The movie stars Rachelle Lefevre and Luke Macfarlane, and is based on a book series by Serena Miller.
The description for this movie is as follows:
“Moriah (Lefevre) is a woodworking artisan living in a French, seaside town, who dreams of restoring the local lighthouse. When Ben (Macfarlane), an American architect, comes to town, it seems as though her dreams will never become reality after she learns he’s there to give the lighthouse a makeover, but for another buyer.”

And the final film in June’s Summer Nights series is Two Tickets to Paradise, starring Ashley Williams, Ryan Paevey, and Mary-Margaret Humes. The movie revolves around two strangers and a honeymoon vacation.
The official plot summary for Two Tickets to Paradise reads:
“Two strangers meet on what feels like the worst day of their lives. Hannah (Williams) and Josh (Paevey) have both been stood up at the altar.
“While shocked and devastated, they happen to meet at the park, which turns out to be the morale boost they need to commit to taking their honeymoon vacations. They realize they are going to the same honeymoon resort and keep crossing paths in tropical paradise.
“Seeing the futility of fighting fate, Hannah and Josh eventually join forces and help learn from one other to enjoy their vacations.”
As you can see from the titles announced above, Hallmark is continuing to deliver new movies this year, and often featuring some familiar faces amongst the cast. The Summer Nights collection also builds on the channel’s other new titles for 2022, which have included the likes of Feeling Butterflies, Welcome to Mama’s, and the popular Wedding Veil trilogy.
