Heading its way onto Hallmark very shortly is the romantic drama, Warming Up to You. The movie stars Cindy Busby, Christopher Russell, Caitlin Stryker, and Latonya Williams, and follows the story of a fitness trainer who develops a relationship with her client.
The official blurb for Warming Up to You (via Hallmark) reads as follows: “Kate (Busby) is a fitness instructor who leaves Los Angeles to take a job at her best friend’s wellness retreat. To her surprise, A-list actor Rick (Russell) is assigned by the studio to come and train with her to get ready for his new feature film.
“Not only does the duo make a breakthrough athletically, but they equally break through some personal walls and find an unexpected friendship that is put at risk when Rick’s co-star, Liza (Stryker), is also sent to train with Kate.”
Warming Up to You is a Johnson Production Group production, with Timothy O. Johnson and Dawn Wolfrom on board as executive producers, and Joseph Wilka as a co-executive producer. Navid Soofi is a producer on the film.
W. Stewart wrote the script for Warming Up to You, based on a story by Steven Kent and Pamela Rice. The movie is directed by Christie Will.
