Hallmark’s brand-new murder mystery movie, Cut, Color, Murder made its debut last night in the US and it would appear to be a big hit with audiences. The film aired on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, bringing a whole new story and cast of characters to the screen, and from the social media response it has gone down a treat!
Comments being made on Twitter during the movie’s debut included “loved it!”, “It was amazing loved each part of it” and “I hope this becomes a new series!” Other users asked “When will we see another?” and “I need a sequel!!”

As part of the premiere screening on Sunday night, stars of Cut, Color, Murder, Julie Gonzalo, Ryan McPartlin and Rebecca Staab, took to Twitter to tweet along with the new movie, and to interact with fans. This gave them the opportunity to see the response the movie was generating, offering an indication of just how well the movie was being received.
Addressing the positive response online, Gonzalo, said: “I can’t thank you all enough for sharing this night with me and our amazing cast. I sincerely hope we get to bring you more of these wonderful characters.
“Thank you for tweeting and watching… so much love for you all.”
One Twitter fan expressed how much they enjoyed it, commenting “can’t wait for the sequel”. Responding, Gonzalo said: “You’re very kind. I hope we get to do more too.”

But will there be a sequel to Cut, Color, Murder?
Well, at present there has been no official confirmation of a sequel to Cut, Color, Murder, but the positive response does offer up the glimmer of hope that there will be another instalment. Hallmark Movies & Mysteries has become known for turning stand-alone mystery movies into long-running series, so there is every possibility this isn’t just a one-off.
And it’s not just the fans that want to see another movie, so too do the stars. When asked about the prospect of another film, Ryan McPartlin said: “we’re working on it!”, suggesting he’s trying to push for one too.

For now though, there’s just one Cut, Color, Murder movie. But if you missed it, the film is getting an encore screening on Tuesday 8th February 2022 at 7pm/8c on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

Yes definitely a sequel loved the movie…. the only thing I would say about the movie that I didn’t find realistic was Ali (Julie Gonzalo) who I love as an Actress and all her Movies, Needed to make it look like she really was cutting someone’s hair while she talked to them she trimmed the back of the neck and then say they were done that’s not
washing & cutting hair so really make it look like she is actually doing someone’s hair..even in Movies she rearly needed to play the part of the Hairdresser or just don’t do Scenes of her cutting hair..
