Howdy folks,
It’s almost Christmas time, the season of joy and happiness, and I have some great news! You’ve no doubt figured it out from the title of this post, but let me be the first to tell you officially:
*Pause for dramatic effect*
It’s A Stampede! has just flown past FIVE MILLION VIEWS!
*Pops open a bottle of (moderately priced) fizzy wine to celebrate*
That’s some ruddy good news, right?
This year, this blog has rocketed past two million views, three million views, four million views, and now it has gone beyond an incredible five million views. This is a fantastic achievement for It’s A Stampede!, it is news I’m pleased to announce, and it is something which simply couldn’t have happened without the help of you!
Whether you show up for the movie reviews, the film trivia, the occasional bit of news or commentary (or anything in between), THANK YOU for being here and being a part of the five million – I can’t even begin to tell you how much it means to me. Knowing that I’m not alone, shouting into the void, is always very humbling.
This past couple of years has been incredibly difficult for everyone (myself included), and I know that things are still not back to ‘normal’ – but we will get there. In the meantime, having you guys here and reading all the latest posts, regardless of the madness that surrounds us all, is something truly awesome.
My ongoing mission with It’s A Stampede! is to deliver new content and reach new people. It’s something which I’ve been doing for a while now, and hitting milestones like this one helps keep me on track.
So, here’s to the first five million views…
*Raises glass of cheap plonk*

In fact, that’s the next time I’ll bring you news of another milestone: when I hit ten million. So until then, I’m going to keep on trucking, and I hope you’ll be there to keep me company.
