Howdy folks, we are now halfway through 2021 – can you believe it? – and it is fair to say that this year is flying by. What with ongoing issues related to the pandemic, and the general disruption to everyone’s day-to-day lives, there has been a lot going on as of late and time does seem to be moving at quite a pace.
But today seems like the perfect time to take a breather. So, stop what you are doing for a few minutes, sit back, and reconnect with some of the things you may have missed from earlier in the year.
And when I say some of the “things” you may have missed, what I really mean is some of the “movies” you may have missed. And more specifically, the movies from January to June.
It might not seem like many movies have been released during the first half of 2021, but there has been a whole heap of ‘em! How do I know? Because this year alone, I have reviewed 50 new movies on It’s A Stampede!.
Through a combination of cinema releases, video-on-demand movies, and streaming titles, I have covered 50 movies that are all brand new this year. Reviews have been added to this blog on a weekly basis, and as you will see, the films range from high-profile features to obscure/niche movies.

There’s a good chance you have overlooked some of these reviews and that’s perfectly understandable – 2021 is proving to be another crazy year! But don’t let them escape you forever.
Despite the problems we are still facing in 2021, when it comes to new movies, there are some real gems out there, you just need to know where to look for them.
Hopefully these reviews have steered you in the right direction toward some great new movies – and at the same time, have helped you escape some real stinkers too!
