In 2003, writer/director Rob Zombie brought his horror movie, House of 1000 Corpses to the big screen. The movie, about a group of teens who run afoul of the Firefly family – a demented, psychotic family of killers – proved popular with audiences and led to a collection of follow-ups.

How many Rob Zombie Firefly movies are there?

To date, there are three main entries in Rob Zombie’s Firefly movie series. The movies – which centre around key members of the Firefly family – are as follows:

  • House of 1000 Corpses (2003)
  • The Devil’s Rejects (2005)
  • 3 from Hell (2019)

In addition to the three live-action movies, Rob Zombie also directed the animated film, The Haunted World of El Superbeasto (2009). The film featured characters from the live-action movie series, and acted as a ‘sidequel’ to The Devil’s Rejects.
