It’s A Stampede! reaches one million views

Howdy folks, I have some excellent news, which I am very excited to share with you.

It’s A Stampede! has reached one million views. Yep, this little ‘ol blog has been viewed ONE MILLION times!

In fact, now that you are reading this post, It’s A Stampede! has passed the one million mark. So, let’s say it has been viewed one million and one times, or one million and two times, or… well, you get the point.

I’m not usually one for blowing trumpets and such, but I think one million views is certainly a cause for celebration. Corks are popping, feet are tapping, hips are swaying, and a general sense of euphoria is currently washing over me. I thank you for this.

Since setting up this blog, I have seen a continual rise in traffic, with an increasing number of Stampeders dropping by to read news, check out reviews, and cast an eye over features. Sure, this year has been a difficult one (to say the least), and there is less to talk about than usual, but that hasn’t stopped you from visiting It’s A Stampede!, from geeking out with me, and from getting involved.

During the height of the coronavirus I was adamant that I would not take a break from this blog, and I am pleased to say I didn’t, and you all stuck with me – even during those weeks where I mostly uploaded images of my dinner. Remember that?

But seriously, I am so pleased to have reached so many readers. I enjoy writing and sharing content for It’s A Stampede! and I really do appreciate everyone who reads what I publish or who simply stops by to say hello.

And this extends to those of you who also visit my sister blogs, I’ll Get Drive-Thru and Don’t Tell Harry, or those who have purchased a copy of my book, Rewind to the ‘90s: A Journey Through 100 Movies. Everyone who has shown up, got involved, or who has offered support along the way, you are all brilliant.

I can assure you there is a lot more to come, but for now I simply want to say thank you for being part of my first million.
