Captain Marvel, Marvel Studios’ first all-female comic book movie, has passed the $1 billion mark at the worldwide box office.
According to the official Captain Marvel Facebook page the movie – the 21st entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – has accumulated over $1 billion (and counting).
*Cough*
And they said that female super hero movies don’t make money.
Captain Marvel is one of only 38 movies to pass $1 billion at the box office. It’s the seventh entry in the MCU to reach such an incredible milestone.

Yep. I wasn’t a huge fan of this entry, but it goes to show that there is a desire to see more female-orientated comic book movies and that’s fine by me.
