If you’re reading this post I expect you want to know if there is an after credit scene for Into the Spider-Verse? More importantly, you want to know if you need to sit through all those credits?!

Well I can fill you in.

You SHOULD sit through the credits of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,because: 

1.) There is a nod to Spider-Man’s co-creators in the credits.

2.) There IS an after credit scene.

What happens in the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse credit scene?

During the end credit scene, two additional Spider-Men are introduced. 

Miguel O’Hara (aka Spider-Man 2099) travels into the Spider-Verse where he meets ANOTHER Spider-Man – the Spidey from the classic 1967 TV show. The two interact, hilariously highlighting the limitations of the old show’s animation. 

Oh and the scene includes a cameo from J. Jonah Jameson too!
