In news that will shock no one, the next James Bond film is likely to be delayed.

Earlier in the week, news broke that director Danny Boyle has left Bond 25 over “creative differences”. According to Variety, with Boyle now off the project, the film’s script is being scrapped too.

The script, written by Boyle and his co-writer, John Hodge, does not cut the mustard with Bond producers, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli or James Bond himself, Daniel Craig. As a result, a new script is required which of course will take time.

The movie was set to begin filming in December, but with no director and no script it is looking increasingly unlikely that the project will hit this date.
