20th Century Fox has released the first official trailer for Alita: Battle Angel.

The movie – directed by Robert Rodriguez – is produced by James Cameron and Jon Landau and has been in development for A LONG time. Described as a cyber punk action film, Alita: Battle Angel stars Rosa Salazar as Alita, a cyborg heroine created through motion capture.

Alita: Battle Angel arrives in cinemas in December.
