A little break from all the San Diego Comic-Con news now, but something equally important to bring to EVERYONE’S attention – Cher has recorded an entire album of ABBA songs!
Inspired by her turn in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, the singer/actress has recorded an ABBA album. Speaking to Today, Cher said:
“After I did Fernando I thought it would really be fun to do an album of ABBA songs, so I did.”
She added: “It’s not what you would think of when you think of ABBA, ’cause I did it in a different way.”
No further details have emerged just yet, so don’t get hopping over to Amazon to pre-order the album. But, don’t expect to have to wait too long to hear more about this – there’s a positive buzz about her performance in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, so the album is likely to drop sooner rather than later.
Or at least I hope it will.
And if you can’t quite get enough of Cher & ABBA, here’s a snippet of Fernando.

Let’s hope she gets it out by Christmas! I can see the Mamma Mia soundtrack doing well over the next couple of weeks.
