Stop me if you’ve heard this one before (and I know I’ve talked about this a lot already), but the staying power of The Greatest Showman is incredible.
Not only is the movie STILL playing in UK cinemas – I could be watching it right now at my local cinema – but the soundtrack is doing phenomenally well. On its 27th week in the UK charts the album is currently sat in the No.1 spot – again!
Since its release at the beginning of the year, the official soundtrack album for The Greatest Showman has spent 21 weeks at No.1. And it’s not gone unnoticed by The Greatest Showman star, Hugh Jackman.
Taking to social media, Jackman posted a video to thank fans of the film for buying the album. The video was accompanied by the caption: “The Greatest Showman soundtrack is #1 in the #UK for the #soundtrack.”
Surely this is the film/album of the year, right?

As I’ve said before its brilliant, the movie, the cd and yes I’ve got the lot.

It seems to be picking up more fans every day. I think those that missed it at the cinema are now getting on board. And, with the way things are going in the world at present I think the movie is uplifting and inclusive etc.
