Forthcoming Disney/Pixar sequel, Toy Story 4 has been given a new release date.

The movie – which has been in development since November 2014 – will arrive in cinemas next year. The new release date will be June 21st 2019 – so mark it in your diaries!

The majority of the cast will all return to voice their respective characters for Toy Story 4, including Tom Hanks (Woody) and Tim Allen (Buzz Lightyear). Toy Story 4 is being written by Stephany Folsom, with Josh Cooley on board as the director.

Don’t expect to see a trailer for Toy Story 4 for a while yet – for the next couple of months, Disney/Pixar will be concentrating on promoting The Incredibles 2 which arrives in cinemas in June. However, if you need a Toy Story fix, Disney/Pixar recently released a ‘Secrets & Easter Eggs’ video, providing a few insights into the beloved Toy Story series.
