Black Panther has taken more than $1 billion dollars at the worldwide box office.

According to Variety, the latest entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has crossed the $1 billion mark after just 26 days on release. The film is now one of five Marvel Studios movies to sit in the $1 billion club, followingΒ The Avengers (2012), Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Iron Man 3 (2013) and Captain America: Civil War (2016).

Box Office Mojo hasn’t updated today’s takings, so I can’t give you Black Panther‘s official figure just yet (Box Office Mojo currently has the movie sitting under the $1 billion mark), but I’ll update the blog tomorrow to provide all the stats.
