The character designs have been revealed for the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles show – Rise of the TMNT.
The artwork – which you can see below – was released by Nickelodeon earlier today. The character designs differ from those seen in the most recent Turtles show, most notably by being traditional 2D drawings and not 3D animation.
Rise of the TMNT is a brand new Turtles show which looks to restart the Turtles storyline for a whole new generation. Aimed at a slightly younger demographic to the recently concluded Turtles cartoon, the series will make its debut on Nickelodeon in 2018.
The voice cast includes: Kat Graham (April O’Neil), Josh Brener (Donatello), Omar Miller (Raphael), Brandon Mychal Smith (Michelangelo), Ben Schwartz (Leonardo) and Eric Bauza (Splinter).
Do you like the new designs or do you much prefer Nickelodeon’s 2012 version of the Turtles? Let me know what you’re thinking.
