Margo’s Got Money Troubles

First up this week it’s over to Apple TV for the comedy-drama series, Margo’s Got Money Troubles. The new show from David E. Kelley (Ally McBealBoston Legal) stars Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer, Nicole Kidman, Nick Offerman, Marcia Gay Harden, Greg Kinnear, Michael Angarano, Rico Nasty, and Lindsay Normington, and is based on the best selling novel by Rufi Thorpe.

Teasing the show, Apple TV said: “Margo’s Got Money Troubles is a bold, heartwarming and comedic family drama following recent college dropout and aspiring writer, Margo (Fanning), the daughter of an ex-Hooter’s waitress (Pfeiffer) and ex-pro wrestler (Offerman), as she’s forced to make her way with a new baby, a mounting pile of bills and a dwindling amount of ways to pay them.”

Should you wish to check out the new show, Margo’s Got Money Troubles is available to stream on Apple TV from April 15th.

Gangs of Galicia: Season Two

Next up, it’s over to Netflix for the return of popular show, Gangs of Galicia. The series is back for a second season, which should delight fans.

Announcing the new season, Netflix said: “The long-awaited Season 2 of Gangs of Galicia is here. Three years have passed, and Ana and Daniel’s lives have taken a dramatic turn.

“Although they tried to leave the past behind and move on, they will once again find themselves entangled in the world of drug trafficking – this time on completely opposite sides. While Daniel agrees to set sail one last time to help his father, Ana is forced to return to Cambados and work with the rival clan of the Padíns.”

Sounds intriguing? Well, should you wish to check it out, Gangs of Galicia: Season Two arrives on Netflix from April 3rd.

XO, Kitty: Season Three

Sticking with Netflix for yet another returnee and this time it’s XO, Kitty, which is back for a third season. 

Describing the show for anyone who hasn’t seen it yet, Netflix said: “First comes the crush, then the K-drama. At a Seoul boarding school, teen matchmaker Kitty pursues romance, uncovers family secrets – and finds herself.”

Widow’s Bay

And finally, back to Apple TV for Widow’s Bay. This is a new mystery-thriller from creator Katie Dippold and director Hiro Murai.

Describing the show, Apple TV said: “A New England mayor trying to boost tourism on his island must navigate strange events suggesting it might be cursed.”

Widow’s Bay is available to stream on Apple TV from April 29th.
