TV Gold…
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

Over to TV Gold now for a comedy classic from the archives you might want to consider for your next binge watch. The series is Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
Originally released between 2015 and 2020, this four-season series follows the story of the titular Kimmy – a 29-year-old woman readjusting to life after being rescued from a doomsday cult. In the series, Kimmy spent 15 years trapped inside a bunker with three other women and their kidnapper, where she is led to believe the world has ended.
Obviously the end of the world scenario is not true – it’s just a pack of lies told by the crazy Reverend Richard Wayne Gary Wayne. And of course, those lies unfold when Kimmy is freed.
After escaping the confines of her underground prison, Kimmy attempts to pick up her life. How does she do it? By relocating to New York, where she moves into an apartment with a fabulously over-the-top roommate, Titus Andromedon, and befriends bonkers landlady, Lillian Kaushtupper, and socialite Jacqueline Voorhees.
The relocation works and Kimmy approaches each day with a sunny disposition. Along the way many, many laughs are had (often via Titus), and plenty of entertainment is chucked at the screen.
Created by Tina Fey and Robert Carlock, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt stars Ellie Kemper, Tituss Burgess, Carol Kane, and Jane Krakowski. The series ran for 52 episodes, which includes 51 regular editions and one special, titled Kimmy vs the Reverend.
Should you wish to binge Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, all four seasons are available to stream on Netflix.
