This January, Hallmark is set to unveil a collection of new movies designed to cast away the winter weather and welcome in something lighter and brighter. The films – which will air as part of Hallmark’s ‘Winter Escape’ programming block – include the rather tempting Melbourne Match!

The new film focuses on a travel writer who heads down under to Australia where she meets a potential new love interest. Describing the film, Hallmark said: “Georgie, a travel writer, travels to Melbourne for an assignment where she meets Zach, an Australian ex-footballer who agrees to be her tour guide and shows her that there’s more to life than work.”

Mallory Jansen and Ryan Corr star in Melbourne Match, taking on the roles of Georgie and Zach respectively. You may recognise Jansen from TV shows such as This Is Us and American Housewife, as well as Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., or from the Hallmark movie Francesca Quinn, PI.

Anyway, should you wish to check out Melbourne Match, the new movie debuts on Saturday January 10th at 8/7c. The film joins a number of new premieres in January, including Lost in Paradise and Love on the Amazon.
