Looking for a way to brighten up the days once Christmas is over? Well, don’t worry, Hallmark Channel has got you covered!

This January the channel is bringing not one, not three, but five new movies to warm up the weekends. The films will air throughout January as part of Hallmark’s ‘Winter Escape’ programming block – a seasonal block designed to lighten the winter days.

One new movie will air every week, covering all of the Saturdays in January. If you don’t have plans after Christmas, you do now!

The first premiere to hit screens during the ‘Winter Escape’ season is Lost in Paradise, which stars Lacey Chabert and Ian Harding. The new movie – which follows the story of a business woman and a chef who become marooned on an ‘deserted’ island – will air on Hallmark Channel on Saturday January 3rd at 8/7c.

The second premiere of the month is Melbourne Match starring Mallory Jansen and Ryan Corr. The movie debuts on Saturday January 10th at 8/7c and concentrates on a travel writer and an Australian ex-footballer turned tour guide.

New movie No. 3 is Love on the Amazon which debuts on Saturday January 17th at 8/7c. Jaicy Elliot and Rafael de la Fuente take the lead in this romantic drama about a young woman who travels to Brazil and hires a riverboat captain to help her deliver an important message to her sister.

The fourth new movie of the month – which aires on Saturday January 24th at 8/7c – is Caught by Love starring Rachael Leigh Cook and Luke MacfarlaneCaught by Love tells the story of a woman who finds herself in the midst of a romance, as well as a crime, while on vacation.

And finally, the fifth new movie of the month is Missing the Boat starring Emilie Ullerup and Kristoffer Polaha. The movie sails onto the Hallmark Channel on Saturday January 31st at 8/7c.

In addition to the above movie premieres, Hallmark’s ‘Winter Escapes’ season will feature a number of classic titles and firm favourites which celebrate romantic destinations. Classics returning to the channel include Raise a Glass to Love (Monday January 5th), Sweeter Than Chocolate (Thursday January 8th), and Hearts Down Under (Saturday January 10th).

Also in the mix is Snowkissed (Monday January 12th), Love of the Irish (Sunday January 11th), My Argentine Heart (Thursday January 15th), and Love in Glacier National: A National Park Romance(Friday January 16th). Groundswell (Thursday January 22nd),

The Perfect Setting (Sunday January 25th), and Two Tickets to Paradise (Saturday January 31st) will also air as part of ‘Winter Escapes’.
