In 1996, television sitcom, Spin City aired ‘The Competition’ – a Thanksgiving-themed episode of the popular show. The episode aired just in time for the holiday season, to provide a perfectly timed instalment of the comedy series.

Due to the popularity of the episode, with audiences enjoying the Thanksgiving fun, Spin City returned to the subject of Thanksgiving in future seasons. Continuing in future years, the show featured more Thanksgiving mirth and mayhem.
