In 1999, television show, Providence, aired ‘Thank You, Providence (1 & 2)’ – a double-episode of Thanksgiving fun. The episodes aired just in time for the holiday season, to provide the hit series with some perfectly timed instalments.

Due to the popularity of the episodes, with audiences enjoying the Thanksgiving fun, Providence returned to the subject of Thanksgiving in future seasons. Continuing the following year, the show featured another double-helping of Thanksgiving drama, before returning to the subject of Thanksgiving a couple more times during the show’s run.
