Hallmark unveils Haul Out the Halloween

This Fall, Hallmark is serving up some spooky-tacular drama in new movie, Haul Out the Halloween. The film – which debuts on Hallmark Channel on Saturday October 11th – is the latest entry in the Haul Out… movie series and sees the residents of Evergreen Lane decide it is time to embrace Halloween with gusto!

Setting out the premise for Haul Out the Halloween, Hallmark, said: “For a neighbourhood as renowned for its spectacular holiday displays as Evergreen Lane, the street has long been modest when it comes to Halloween. But when fun and spooky new neighbours, Luna and Marvin move to the block, Emily, Jared and the rest of the HOA agree to get in on the seasonal fun and launch EverSCREAM Lane to fundraise for a local charity.

“As the block pulls together to plan creepy contests, spine-chilling décor and a spooktacular carnival, new haunted hijinks ensue with Pamela, Ned, Mary Louise and the rest of the block. Through the process, Emily rediscovers the joys of the holiday that she and her late grandmother once cherished.”

Fan-favourite Hallmark star, Lacey Chabert leads the cast of Haul Out the Halloween, reprising the role of Emily. A more-than familiar face with viewers, Chabert has fronted a wealth of Hallmark movies over the years, including Moonlight in Vermont, Love, Romance & Chocolate, the All of My Heart movies, and the forthcoming holiday movie, She’s Making a List, which will air on Hallmark Channel as part of Countdown to Christmas 2025.

Joining Chabert on screen is Wes Brown as Jared, Stephen Tobolowsky as Ned, Melissa Peterman as Pamela, and Ellen Travolta as Mary. Meanwhile, new cast members include real-life spouses Kimberly J. Brown and Daniel Kountz who will be playing new neighbours, Luna and Marvin, who become a key part of the story.

Maclain Nelson is calling the shots as director and co-writer of the film, while Christopher Sey is on board as the other co-writer.

Haul Out the Halloween is the latest entry in the Haul Out… movie series. Previous entries include 2022’s Haul Out the Holly and 2023’s Haul Out the Holly: Lit Up.

Both movies were hits for Hallmark and it’s expected to be three for three with Haul Out the Halloween. The film is airing as part of Hallmark’s Fall Into Love programming block, and should bring some likeable mirth for the spooky season.
