Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat, and Hallmark has unveiled the October line-up for Countdown to Christmas 2025. This holiday season, Hallmark is serving up a whole host of movies and television shows, including a heap of new premieres, and the schedules for October are now locked in and ready to go.
As a reminder, Countdown to Christmas begins on Friday October 17th and will run throughout November and December, covering the entirety of the holidays. This means Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Mystery will devote its schedules to festive programming, allowing viewers to indulge in the season with lots of Christmas content.
So, what is coming up in October? Well, you can check out the full line-up covering October 17th to October 31st below (and that’s for both Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Mystery), but let’s just take a quick look at a few highlights first.

The October highlights
The highlights begin with the new offerings which will be arriving on Hallmark Channel this October. These include episodes of the mystery TV show Mistletoe Murders, as well as the reality series, Baked with Love: Holiday.
In addition to these TV treasures, audiences can dive into new movies including A Royal Montana Christmas with Fiona Gubelmann and Warren Christie, as well as Merry Christmas, Ted Cooper! starring Robert Buckley and Kimberley Sustad. Plus, Hallmark fans can also catch all three entries in the Cherry Lane trilogy, which are new to Hallmark (following their initial debut on Hallmark+).
Outside of the new programming, Hallmark is also bringing out some of the old favourites, which you may have missed first time around, or you may simply wish to revisit. This includes films such as A Novel Noel, Trivia at St. Nick’s, A ’90s Christmas, A Christmas Cookie Catastrophe, and The Christmas Cottage on Hallmark Channel, as well as The Christmas Train, Operation Nutcracker, A Season for Family, USS Christmas, and Murder, She Baked: A Plum Pudding Mystery on Hallmark Mystery.
Over the course of October, and between the two channels, viewers can also catch up on the Godwink movies, the Christmas in Evergreen films, and all the entries in the Unwrapping Christmas series. Plus Hallmark Mystery will be screening Haunted Harmony Mysteries: Buried at C, which is the channel’s only non-Christmas movie, but it does tie in with the Halloween season this month.
