Hallmark brings Christmas in Evergreen to Countdown to Christmas

This holiday season, if you’re a fan of Hallmark Christmas movies then you will have your eyes firmly set on the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Mystery. From mid-October, Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas will be in full swing, and that means you will be treated to a whole host of new holiday-themed movies and television shows.

On offer this year are the likes of A Make or Break Holiday, The More the Merrier, Baked with Love: Holiday, and The Christmas Baby, amongst others. You can also check out a new entry in the Three Wiser Men movie series.

But while Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas 2025 is packed with new content, it’s also a great time to catch up on some old favourites too. So, if you’ve been waiting for A December Bride or Operation Nutcracker to return, then you will be very pleased to see them back in the schedules.

You may also be happy to know Hallmark is planning on re-screening the Christmas in Evergreen movies. Between the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Mysteries, you can catch all four entries.

Now, I should warn you the films don’t necessarily pop up in the correct viewing order, but you do have the opportunity to watch them all, which is never a bad thing, right? And they will be appearing shortly after Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas gets underway on Friday October 17th.

Christmas in Evergreen: Tidings of Joy – Hallmark Mystery

First up head to Hallmark Mystery on Saturday October 18th at 8a/7c for Christmas in Evergreen: Tidings of Joy. This entry sees the townsfolk of Evergreen in search of a rumoured Christmas Time Capsule, which catches the attention of a sceptical writer who comes to Evergreen to see what all the fuss is about.

Christmas in Evergreen: Letters to Santa – Hallmark Channel

From here you want to switch to Hallmark Channel on Sunday October 19th at 8a/7c for Christmas in Evergreen: Letters to Santa. This film focuses on an attempt to revive a closed-down general store which is important to the local community.

Christmas in Evergreen – Hallmark Mystery

For your next Evergreen fix, flip back to Hallmark Mystery on Monday October 20th at 4a/3c for the original entry, Christmas in Evergreen. This film – which kick-started it all – centres around a veterinarian who finds her Christmas taking an unexpected turn.

Christmas in Evergreen: Bells Are Ringing – Hallmark Mystery

And then keep it on Hallmark Mystery for Christmas in Evergreen: Bells Are Ringing, which airs on Tuesday 21st at 2/1c. There’s a wedding in the air, as well as the launch of a new museum!

So, there you go; four Christmas in Evergreen films all appearing in quick succession over four days. And of course, don’t worry too much if you miss them, Hallmark will be re-running the films during the course of Countdown to Christmas.

You will also find many classic films appearing in the Countdown to Christmas, ranging from Mingle All the Way to The Gift of Peace and A Timeless Christmas. So if you LOVE Christmas movies, you know where to go this holiday season.
