This October, Channing Tatum heads to the big screen to star in the comedy-drama, Roofman. Directed and co-written by Derek Cianfrance, the movie follows the story of real-life convicted robber, Jeffrey Manchester.

During the late ‘90s and into the ‘00s, Manchester embarked on a crime spree, predominantly stealing from McDonald’s restaurants in the US, after gaining access through the roof. He later broke into a Toys R Us store and lived inside for quite some time undetected.

With a cast which includes Kirsten Dunst, Ben Mendelsohn, Peter Dinklage, and the aforementioned Tatum, Roofman will focus on Manchester’s life, and more specifically his time hiding out at the Toys R Us store. This includes a plot line about a romance between Manchester and one of the store’s employees.

The preview trailers for Roofman have been warmly received and the initial buzz is very promising. As such, when Roofman makes its debut it is expected to be a hit at the box office.

But what about the age rating for Roofman? Who is this film aimed at and who is it most suitable for?
