Leprechaun (1993)

The first entry in the Leprechaun movie series debuted in 1993. In this movie, a vicious leprechaun is released from imprisonment, after being trapped for ten years.

Believing a family has stolen his pot of gold he sets out to retrieve it. As the leprechaun hunts them down, they try to locate his gold to appease him. (92 mins)

Leprechaun 2 (1994)

The second instalment in the Leprechaun movie series arrived in 1994, under the title Leprechaun 2. In this entry, the Leprechaun is in Los Angeles seeking a bride. (85 mins)

Leprechaun 3 (1995)

In Leprechaun 3, the Leprechaun is back and this time he’s gone to Las Vegas! Once again he is up to no good, killing and granting twisted wishes. (90 mins)

Leprechaun 4: In Space (1997)

In Leprechaun 4: In Space, the Leprechaun movie series jumps forward to the future for a sci-fi horror. In this entry, the Leprechaun is in search of an alien bride. (95 mins)

Leprechaun in the Hood (2000)

In movie No. 5, Leprechaun in the Hood, the Leprechaun seeks out his stolen magic flute. Three wannabe rappers took it, and the Leprechaun wants it back. (90 mins)

Leprechaun: Back 2 Tha Hood (2003)

In Leprechaun: Back 2 Tha Hood, a group of youths steal the Leprechaun’s gold. Keen to get it back, he doesn’t allow anyone to get in his way. (90 mins)

Leprechaun: Origins (2014)

In movie No. 7, Leprechaun: Origins, the series gets a reboot. In this movie, four college students backpacking in Ireland fall foul of the Leprechaun. (90 mins)

Leprechaun Returns (2018)

Set 25 years after the events of 1993’s Leprechaun, and completely disregarded every movie bar the original, Leprechaun Returns is a belated legacy sequel. (92 mins)
