The holiday season is a time for celebration, and this Christmas there’s a new arrival worth celebrating! Debuting in late December, just in time for Christmas Day, is the all-new movie, The Christmas Baby.

The film stars Ali Liebert, Katherine Barrell, and Hallmark favourite, Barbara Niven. It promises to bring a bundle of joy at the most joyous time of the year.

The film tells the story of two women who come to look after an abandoned baby. The infant is left in their care, just before Christmas, and they have to adapt accordingly to ensure the unexpected guest is safe and sound during the holidays.

Explaining the plot of The Christmas Baby, Hallmark, said: “When a baby boy shows up on their doorstep days before Christmas with a note written specially for them, Erin (Liebert) and Kelly (Barrell) must learn how to navigate their new relationship and career dynamics while unexpectedly caring for a newborn.

“As the couple spends more time with the baby as a temporary solution until he can be placed permanently or they can find his mother, they begin to realise that they want to adopt him themselves and go about navigating the complicated world of fostering to adopt, all while their business is booming at the busiest time of the year, Christmas.”

Sounds delightful and heartwarming, doesn’t it? And a bit of a treat just before Christmas!

Should you wish to check it out, The Christmas Baby makes its debut on Hallmark on Sunday December 21st. The movie will air at 8/7c, as part of Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas 2025 programming block.

You may also like to know The Christmas Baby is just one of many new movies hitting Hallmark this holiday season. Other new titles include The Snow Must Go On, A Suite Holiday Romance, and Christmas Above the Clouds, amongst others.
