Christmas 2025 is on the way and that can only mean one thing. From mid-October until late December, Hallmark is counting down to the big day with its seasonal programming block, Countdown to Christmas 2025.
This year, Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas 2025 is jam-packed with movies, television shows, and even a Hallmark Christmas Experience Special! So, if you are a big fan of the holiday season (and who isn’t?) then Hallmark is probably where you want to be for the next few months.

October 2025
It all begins on October 17th with the mystery show, Mistletoe Murders. Hallmark is aiming to screen two episodes per week up until November 21st.
Mistletoe Murders follows the story of Christmas-themed store owner, Emily Lane (Sarah Drew), who despite being busy operating her charming store, ‘Under the Mistletoe’, has a knack for solving murders! During the course of the series she teams up with local cop, Detective Sam Wilner (Peter Mooney), to crack some perplexing cases.
Moving forward, Hallmark then unveils a series of new movies, including A Royal Montana Christmas, A Christmas Angel Match, and Merry Christmas, Ted Cooper!. Then on Monday October 27th prepare to settle down with the mouth-watering show, Baked with Love: Holiday.
Hosted by Tamera Mowry-Housley and featuring guest judge Anna Haugh, Baked with Love: Holiday follows ten talented pairs of home bakers as they head to the kitchen to cook up a storm! We’re talking good-natured, family baking, and some classic recipes.
As for the prize, the winning pair will be crowned Christmas Baking Champions 2025. Plus, there is a super-sweet prize of $50,000, as well as the chance for the winners to have one of their bakes featured in a Hallmark Countdown to Christmas movie!

November 2025
Sliding into November and more movies follow including Christmas on Duty, A Newport Christmas, and Christmas Above the Clouds, which stars Erin Krakow and Tyler Hynes. In Christmas Above the Clouds, a CEO finds her past coming back to haunt her for the holidays.
Describing Christmas Above the Clouds, Hallmark, said: “When workaholic CEO Ella Neezer (Krakow) tries to skip Christmas by flying to Australia, she’s in for the flight of her life. Haunted by her past, present and future, she’s forced to confront the choices that led to her success yet left her flying solo.
“With the help of three quirky spirits and a surprise reunion with her ex (Hynes), she might just rediscover the magic of Christmas – and the love she thought she’d lost.”
Other movies in November include A Keller Christmas Vacation, Three Wisest Men, Tidings for the Season, and the sports movie, Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story. The cast of Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story includes Holland Roden, Matthew Daddario, Joe Pantoliano, and Tracy Pollan, but also expect cameos from the likes of Coach Sean McDermott, Ray Davis, Damar Hamlin, Dion Dawkins, Dawson Knock, and many more.
Then rounding out November, Laura Vandervoort stars in Melt My Heart This Christmas; Autumn Reeser and Niall Matter take the lead in We Met in December; and Heather Hemmens and Corey Cott front The Show Must Go On. Plus there’s more seasonal fun with The More the Merrier, An Alpine Holiday, A Grand Ole Opry Christmas, The Christmas Cup, and Christmas at the Catnip Café.

December 2025
Moving into December, and from Friday December 5th you can catch the TV show, Twelve Dates ‘Til Christmas. The series will air new episodes each week until the series finale on Friday December 19th.
Describing the show, Hallmark said: “Talented Saville Row textile pattern designer Kate (Mae Whitman) lives in the quaint village of Blexford, England, next door to her father Mac (Nathaniel Parker), who is long-divorced from Kate’s mother Delilah (Mary McDonnell), a globe-trotting American always on an adventure. When not at work, Kate looks after Mac, who’s recovering from a motorbike accident and is inclinded to spend his days sitting in his recliner.
“Unbeknownst to Kate, her best friend Laura (Lucy Eaton) signs her up for The 12 Dates of Christmas – a holiday-themed matchmaking program in the days leading up to the holiday featuring carefully curated, yuletide dating experiences, in an attempt to get Kate out of her rut.
“Lovingly coerced by Laura and longtime best friend Callum (Julian Morris), a reluctant Kate ultimately gets into the spirit of the program and is caught off guard when she meets someone (Toby Sandeman) who reinvigorates her zest for life. But when Delilah unexpectedly shows up on her doorstep – literally – Kate and Mac’s life and holiday season get upended.
“Meanwhile, Mac may be embarking on his own romance with local Evelyn (Jane Seymour), a widow who slowly helps him step outside the confines of his house and open his heart. As Kate wends her way through the 12 dates, she takes a circuitous route to romance while also making some important discoveries about herself.”
Back to films and in December, Hallmark serves up She’s Making a List with Lacey Chabert and Andrew Walker; Single on the 25th with Lyndsy Fonseca and Daniel Lissing; and A Suite Holiday Romance with Jessy Schram and Dominic Sherwood. Plus Oy to the World!, and A Make or Break Holiday.
And then on Sunday December 21st prepare for the arrival of The Christmas Baby. The movie stars Ali Liebert, Katherine Barrell, and Barbara Niven, and promises much joy as we slide into the final few days before Christmas.
