When it comes to horror movies, it’s fair to say Weapons is one very unsettling, and very scary movie. The film from writer/director Zach Cregger has the power to get in the head of its audience, while it unspools a mesmerising and mysterious story filled with tension and suspense.
The general premise is that in a small town in the US, 17 children disappear under strange circumstances. The reveal is far more unnerving, and involves something sinister bubbling under the surface.
If you’re a fan of the movie, you know it is one to revisit. You may also want to take a look at some of the movie’s best lines of dialogue.
And if this is the case, you’ve come to the right place. Below you will find the best quotes from Weapons.

Best Weapons (2025) quotes

Narrator – “This is a true story that happened in my town. So this one Wednesday is like a normal day for the whole school, but today was different. Every other class had all their kids, but Mrs. Gandy’s room was totally empty. And do you know why? Because the night before, at 2:17 in the morning, every kid woke up, got out of bed, walked downstairs, and into the dark… and they never came back.”
__
Justine – “Um… I-I just want to say how very sorry I am for…”
Parent (interrupting) – “She should be locked up until she tells us what happened.”
__
Archer – “We’re talking about 17 kids in one classroom. I wanna know what happened in that classroom. Why just her classroom? Why only hers?”
__

Captain Ed – “Mr. Graff, I can understand your passion and I don’t mind having these conversations with you because god forbid if it was my child, I’d be demanding answers too. Those kids walked out of those homes, no one pulled them out. No one forced them. What do you see that I don’t?”
__
Gladys Lilly – “I can make your parents hurt themselves. I can make them hurt each other. I can make them eat each other if I want to. Do I want to, Alex?”
__
Archer (startled awake by a nightmare) – “What the f*ck!”
__
Gas Station Clerk – “Get the f*ck outta my store!”
Justine – “F*cking help me!”
__
And finally…

Gladys Lilly – “Don’t cross the salt line.”
