If you’re a fan of the Mystery Island movie series, and you enjoyed the most recent instalment, Mystery Island: Play for Keeps, then prepare to be very happy. Hallmark has announced another new entry is on the way – and it’s coming very soon!

The new film will air in September as part of the network’s ’Fall Into Love’ programming block. The annual event returns for 2025 and will feature a collection of fall/autumn-themed movies, including some new titles and plenty of old favourites.

Joining this year’s line-up is a new film in the Mystery Island series: Mystery Island: House Rules. The film stars Elizabeth Henstridge and Charlie Weber, and is directed by John Christian Plummer.

As for the plot of Mystery Island: House Rules, the success of Mystery Island has led to plans for expansion. However, what should be a happy time on the island is met with murder!

Describing the new movie, Hallmark said: “The Island team meets their Mystery Mountain counterparts for a friendly murder game, but the fun ends with a murder in plain sight.”

Sounds intriguing, doesn’t it? Well, you don’t have too long to wait to see what happens.

Should you wish to take a look, Mystery Island: House Rules will debut on Sunday Sept 14th. The film will air at 8/7c.
