2010s

Moving over to the 2010s and many, many more movies followed, including Dinner for SchmucksWanderlust, and This is 40. Rudd also returned to the Anchorman film series with Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.

For the most part, Rudd worked in small scale pictures, and very rarely in anything considered a ‘tent pole picture’. However, in 2015 he headlined Marvel’s Ant-Man which placed him in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – the biggest franchise on the planet.

Working alongside Evangeline Lilly and Michael Douglas, Rudd took on the role of Scott Lang, for a heist movie about an ex-criminal who becomes a size-changing superhero. Upon release, the film was a hit with audiences, and Rudd would soon reprise the role for various Marvel movies, including 2019’s Avengers: Endgame.
