Halle Berry movies in order

In 1991, Halle Berry made her film debut in the movie, Jungle Fever. From here she followed up her film acting work with appearances in movies such as Strictly Business, The Last Boy Scout with Bruce Willis, and Boomerang with Eddie Murphy.

To begin with, her on-screen roles in movies were smaller parts, but soon her star status began to grow as audiences took the actor to their hearts. This increased her presence on the big screen, and propelled her career toward the icon she would eventually become.

2000s

Into the 2000s now, and Halle Berry kick-started the decade with the comic book blockbuster X-Men, where she appeared alongside an ensemble cast including Patrick Stewart and Hugh Jackman. Berry then re-teamed with Jackman for Swordfish, before appearing in the James Bond movie, Die Another Day; the thriller Gothika with Robert Downey Jr; and the Batman spin-off, Catwoman.

However, Berry’s biggest acting achievement in this decade came via 2001’s Monster’s Ball. Berry took on the role of Leticia Musgrove for the romantic drama, which won her an Academy Award for Best Actress – a landmark win, as Berry was the first African-American actress to ever receive this award.
