We may only be a few months into the year, but Hallmark already has plans in place for a whole host of new shows and movies for 2025. The network has had plenty of successes so far, with the Hearts Around the Table movies already proving popular, and films such as Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To the Moon and Back and Love in the Clouds on the way, but so much more will follow.
Currently in development is a collection of unscripted original series, including Baked with Love: Holiday, and Daughter of the Bride. Also be prepared for Armed to Build – a new show with Nikki DeLoach, which will help a community honour and celebrate first responders and veterans.
Meanwhile, another exciting new series which is sure to delight mystery fans is Murder Mystery House, which is being co-created by Hallmark’s Jonathan Bennett.
Describing the show, Hallmark said: “This reality show invites Hallmark Mystery fans to join in on the investigation – inviting them to a gorgeous mansion where there’s been a “murder”. These real-life sleuths must narrow down the suspects, made up of favourite Hallmark actors, and figure out who the culprit is for a cash prize.”

One show which has already grabbed the attention of Hallmark+ viewers is Mistletoe Murders. The series, which stars Sarah Drew, has been a hit so far, and following the success of season one, season two is on the way!
If you’re not already familiar with Mistletoe Murders, the series follows Emily Lane, a Christmas store owner who solves local murders. Describing the series, Hallmark said:
“When local murders begin to pop up in Fletcher’s Grove, Emily can’t help but to use her unique talents from her past life to help solve murders that affect people in her new life. She crosses paths with Detective Sam Wilner (Peter Mooney) who she starts to make a connection with, until he comes to learn there is more to Emily than meets the eye.”
Episodes so far include ‘Poison in a Pear Tree – Part 1 & 2‘, ‘Peril of the Belles – Part 1 & 2‘, and ‘Death of a Humbug – Part 1 & 2‘.
And if you want more than just shows, Hallmark has also announced a forthcoming sports-themed movie titled Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story. The movie is in response to the overwhelming popularity of Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story.
Hallmark said: “Following the success of Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, which won the title of #1 most-watched cable movie of 2024, Hallmark, NFL, and Skydance Sports are teaming up again this Christmas for Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story, premiering during Hallmark Channel’s 16th annual Countdown to Christmas.”
With all this and much more, there is plenty on the horizon for Hallmark fans.
