Hallmark has announced two new movies for May, which should prove popular with those looking for a little romance this spring. The films will air as part of Hallmark’s ‘May For Moms’ programming block.

The first of the new films is Hats Off to Love. The movie stars Ginna Claire Mason, John Clarence Steward, and Holly Robinson Peete, and focuses on a developing romance centred around the races.

Describing Hats Off to Love, Hallmark, said: “Stella designs hats and fascinators for socialite Rosalind and meets her son Christian who’s training a horse to compete in the Louisville Derby.”

Should you wish to check out Hats Off to Love, the new movie debuts on May 3rd on Hallmark Channel. The film airs at 8/7c.

The second of the new films is Love in the Clouds. The movie stars McKenzie Westmore, Paul Greene, Gail O’Grady, and Lorenzo Lamas, and sets its story around hot air balloons.

Describing Love in the Clouds, Hallmark said: “Reporter Brooklyn travels to the Balloon Fiesta to meet hot air balloon pilot Jared, who offers romantic balloon rides but is closed off to love himself.”

Love in the Clouds debuts on May 10th. The film will air on Hallmark Channel at 8/7c.

Joining Hats Off to Love and Love in the Clouds in Hallmark’s ‘May For Moms’ programming block are Love on the Danube: Love Song, Love on the Danube: Royal Getaway, and Love on the Danube: Kissing Stars. The films previously aired on Hallmark+ in 2024, but will air on Hallmark Channel May 17th, May 24th, and May 31st respectively.
