In 2009, Debbie Macomber’s Mrs. Miracle made its debut. The feature-length Christmas film, which aired on Hallmark, was based on a novel by author Debbie Macomber and told the story of a helpful nanny who assists a young family in their hour of need.

Doris Roberts took on the role of Mrs. Miracle in the film. Her performance, as well as the movie itself, proved popular with viewers and a follow-up movie aired the following year.

Debbie Macomber’s Mrs. Miracle (2009)

In the first entry in the series, Debbie Macomber’s Mrs. Miracle, widowed parent Seth Webster is finding it difficult bringing up his two children without his wife. However, Seth’s prayers are soon answered when new nanny, Mrs. Emily Merkle (aka ‘Mrs. Miracle’) steps into his life and offers some much-needed assistance.

Debbie Macomber’s Call Me Mrs. Miracle (2010)

In movie number two, Debbie Macomber’s Call Me Mrs. Miracle, Emily Merkle is back to bring some holiday magic where it is needed most. Which in this case is the toy department at the financially troubled Finley’s Department Store.

Doris Roberts reprises the role of Mrs. Miracle in this entry.

Debbie Macomber’s Mr. Miracle (2014)

In this next movie (which is spiritually connected to the series, but not directly connected), a guardian angel poses as an English teacher to help a young woman at Christmas.

Rob Morrow takes on the role of Mr. Miracle for this film.

Debbie Macomber’s A Mrs. Miracle Christmas (2021)

After an 11-year break, the Mrs. Miracle movies returned to Hallmark in 2021 with a new entry: Debbie Macomber’s A Mrs. Miracle Christmas. For this film Mrs. Miracle aims to renew some Christmas spirit in a family that faces loneliness and the loss of faith.

Caroline Rhea plays the part of Mrs. Miracle for this movie.

Debbie Macomber’s Joyful Mrs. Miracle (2024)

Another entry, Debbie Macomber’s Joyful Mrs. Miracle continued the series in 2024. In this film, Annie Merkel poses as an estate planner to help three adult siblings rekindle their bond.

Rachel Boston plays Mrs. Miracle in this movie.
