Some great news for all you super-sleuthers out there, as Hallmark has announced the imminent arrival of a new entry in The Cases of Mystery Lane series. The film is titled The Cases of Mystery Lane: Death is Listening and sees the return of Aimee Garcia and Paul Campbell as Birdie and Alden Case.

Describing the new movie, Hallmark said: “As Birdie (Garcia) and Alden (Campbell) Case continue their quest to become private Investigators, their newest case proves to really put them to the test, when popular true crime podcaster, Laurel St. James, is murdered in the recording studio moments before she is about to reveal the identity of an infamous serial killer. It is up to The Cases to listen to the clues and solve this suspicious murder but as they dig into the case, personal details are discovered that could alter their own lives forever.”

The Cases of Mystery Lane: Death is Listening is produced by Mandy Spencer-Phillips, with Dawn Knight as supervising producer. Kate Gajdosik, Kim Arnott, Suzanne Arnott and Michael Shepard are executive producers.

The movie is directed by Mike Rohl, working from a script by Joel Dovev & Margaux Froley. The script is based on characters by Dovev & Froley.

Should you wish to check out The Cases of Mystery Lane: Death is Listening, the all-new original movie debuts on Hallmark Mystery on Friday September 13th. The film will air at 9pm ET/PT.
