When the first season of X-Men ‘97 arrived on Disney+, it was an instant hit with fans. Viewers enjoyed the exciting and captivating stories, adored the animation and scenes of spectacle, and loved the fact their favourite Marvel characters were back on television.
Seeing popular and iconic heroes such as Wolverine, Rogue, and Storm on screens was pure delight, and it was fun to see lesser-known characters too. And one of these lesser-known characters (or perhaps, lesser-remembered) was the shapeshifting non-binary mutant, Morph.

Although Morph was a member of the X-Men in predecessor series, X-Men: The Animated Series, they only appeared in the show sporadically. Morph popped up on occasion (mostly during seasons one and two), but didn’t have a great deal of screen time.
However, this all changed with X-Men ‘97, as Morph was given more time in the spotlight. As such, they were also given the opportunity to shine, demonstrate their unique abilities, and transform their appearance many different times.
But how many times did Morph transform during the first season of X-Men ‘97 and what are all of Morph’s transformations? For all the details, keep reading.

Well, while they are all enjoyable in their own way, Morph’s transformations into Lady Deathstrike and Psylocke in the episode ‘Mutant Liberation Begins‘ was action-packed, while Morph’s appearance as the Hulk in ‘Tolerance is Extinction: Part One‘ and Mr. Fantastic in ‘Tolerance is Extinction: Part Three‘ was fun.
