I know it seems hard to believe, but the first four months of 2024 have now come and gone. Those months flew by in the blink of an eye, largely while you were busy, and I’m afraid they’ve disappeared into the history books and there’s no getting them back.
However, just because you can no longer experience the first part of 2024, it doesn’t mean you can’t take a quick look behind you. Heck, this blog is nothing without a little jaunt to the past, and if it’s movie reviews you’re after then I’ve got a whole heap of ‘em!
Below are more than 75 movie reviews from the first four months of 2024. The reviews cover January, February, March, and April, and take into account new releases, re-releases, anniversaries, and everything in between.
But before we go any further…
It’s worth pointing out, that due to last year’s twin industry strikes, 2024 has had a bit of a bumpy start, with fewer films and generally less A-grade material, so do keep in mind that it’s not all top titles being reviewed below. However, between cinemas, retailers, and streaming services, there are still plenty of films to catch the imagination and provide some entertainment, so it’s certainly not a barren wasteland.
So, what has 2024 served up so far? Well, you can click on the reviews for yourself to get the full details, however highlights have included Society of Snow, The Beekeeper, Mean Girls, The Greatest Night in Pop, The Iron Claw, Immaculate, Wicked Little Letters, All of Us Strangers, Civil War, and Abigail, amongst others.
You’ll also find some anniversary reviews for the likes of Speed, The Mask, Connie and Carla, and The Parallax View, as well as a re-release review for Star Wars – Episode One: The Phantom Menace. Oh, and there are reviews for the latest entries in the Ghostbusters, MonsterVerse, and Justice League animated franchises too!
So, not bad, all things considered.
