In 2007, US author Robyn Carr published the novel, Virgin River. The book followed the story of Melinda Monroe – a nurse who moves to the remote mountain town of Virgin River.
In the book, recently widowed Melinda moves to Virgin River in the hopes of restarting her nursing career. However, her cabin is not what she hoped for and she doesn’t receive a particularly warm welcome upon arrival.
The next morning, Melinda plans to leave the town. But she soon changes her mind when she discovers an abandoned baby on her front porch.
Following the publication of Virgin River, Robyn Carr published a second entry in the Virgin River book series, titled Shelter Mountain. This was followed by a third instalment titled Whispering Rock, then a fourth called A Virgin River Christmas.
Further Virgin River novels followed, building out a sizeable collection of tales in the process. The book series even inspired a hit Netflix show.
But if you’re new to Virgin River, you may be asking what are the titles of all the books and what is the order? Well, keep on reading for the details.
