Since its release at the tail-end of 2023, British movie, Saltburn has caused quite a stir. The psychological thriller, with moments of black comedy, proved to be a big hit on streaming with many audiences talking about the movie online.

Written and directed by Emerald Fennell, Saltburn tells the story of Oxford University student, Oliver Quick, and his obsession with fellow student, Felix Catton. In the movie, Oliver and Felix become friends, leading to Oliver receiving an invite to Felix’s family home, the eponymous Saltburn.

Things then take a rather dark turn, as Oliver becomes accepted into the house. But there’s a little more going on than there first appears, and Oliver might not be the best house guest after all.
