In 1990, Russell Crowe made his film debut with the movie, Blood Oath. From here he followed up his film acting work with appearances in movies such as The Crossing, Proof, and Spotswood. 

To begin with, his on-screen appearances were small roles, but soon his star status began to grow. This in turn increased his presence on the big screen, and propelled his career forward.

Over the years, Russell Crowe starred in films such as Gladiator, Proof of Life, and The Nice Guys. He also took on the role of Henry Jekyll in The Mummy, Jor-El in Man of Steel, and Zeus in Thor: Love and Thunder.
