Think back to 2011, and you may recall popular television sitcom, New Girl, aired an episode of the show called ‘Thanksgiving’, which not surprisingly was a Thanksgiving themed instalment of the hit series. The episode was broadcast to coincide with the holiday season, to give viewers a spot of Thanksgiving cheer.
Jump forward to the next season and New Girl returned to the subject of Thanksgiving for another episode, and then another, and so on. In fact, over the next few seasons New Girl revisited Thanksgiving on multiple occasions.
