In 2016, author Alexia Gordon published her supernatural mystery novel, Murder in G Major. The novel centred around African-American classical musician, Gethsemane Brown, who finds herself becoming a sleuth when she is enlisted by a ghost to help clear his name of a murder he didn’t commit.
Due to the popularity of Murder in G Major, Gordon followed up her novel with another instalment called Death in D Minor. This was then followed by additional books in the series, with Brown remaining the chief protagonist throughout.
In a short space of time, this collection of stories quickly grew, and developed a loyal following in the process. The books were collectively known as the Gethsemane Brown series and have entertained and enthralled countless readers ever since.
