How to watch DC’s Tomorrowverse movies in order

In August 2020, Warner Bros. released the animated film, Superman: Man of Tomorrow. The movie – part of the DC Universe Animated Original Movies collection – kick-started a new sub-universe known as the Tomorrowverse.

Over the next few years, the Tomorrowverse expanded to incorporate stories centred around the Justice Society, Batman, Green Lantern, Adam Strange, Kamandi, Supergirl, and the Legion of Superheroes. The Justice League were also part of the Tomorrow-Verse, with Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and the Martian Manhunter all involved in a story focused around Warworld.

But have you been following the Tomorrowverse? If not, don’t worry!

In this post I am presenting the viewing order to watch all the films (and shorts) within the Tomorrowverse. Below you will find a list of every film you need to watch, to help guide you through.

The order of DC’s Tomorrowverse movies

As noted above, DC’s Tomorrowverse began in 2020 with Superman: Man of Tomorrow. From here the Tomorrowverse continued with Justice Society: World War II (2021), Batman: The Long Halloween – Part One (2021), Batman: The Long Halloween – Part Two (2021), Green Lantern: Beware My Power (2022), Legion of Super-Heroes (2023), Justice League: Warworld (2023) and Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths Part One, Two, and Three.

In addition to the movies highlighted above, two animated ‘DC Showcase’ shorts were also part of the Tomorrowverse. These shorts were included as added extras on home video releases and included: Adam Strange (2020) and Kamandi: The Last Boy on Earth! (2021)
