From Super Mario Bros., Doom, and Sonic the Hedgehog, to Moshi Monsters, Tetris, and Gran Turismo, Hollywood loves turning popular computer games into movies. And it stands to reason really, because games are extremely popular, have interesting and dynamic characters, and come pre-loaded with immersive lore and exciting storylines.

All of the above is very attractive to movie studios, and despite the difficulties they face when trying to adapt games for film, it never seems to stop them from having a go. As such, there are more than 100 game-to-movie adaptations, from live-action through to animation.

Are all of the movies good? Heck no – most are poor, but they keep on coming regardless.

But have you ever wondered what all the game-to-movie adaptations are? You have? Well, wonder no longer, because in this post I am providing a list of all the game-based films you could ever wish to watch (or avoid).
