In 1979, Patrick Swayze made his film debut in the movie, Skatetown U.S.A. From here he followed up his acting work with further appearances in films such as The Comeback Kid, Return of the Rebels, and Pigs vs. Freaks.
To begin with, his on-screen roles were small parts, which is true of any actor in show business, but soon his star status began to grow as audiences took the actor to their hearts.
