It is fair to say that Sandra Bullock is one of the movie industry’s best-loved actresses. Her career has spanned decades, and has included a collection of high-profile pictures, including Practical Magic (1998), A Time to Kill (1996), and While You Were Sleeping (1995).

In this post I am taking a look back at Bullock’s film portfolio, with a rundown of all her movies. I will be going through her film career, decade-by-decade, to showcase all of the pictures she has starred in, dating back to the late 1980s.

The 1980s

Bullock kick-started her movie career in 1987, with a small part in the movie, Hangman. From here she appeared in the TV film, Bionic Showdown (a spin-off of The Six Million Dollar Man/The Bionic Woman), before appearing in Who Shot Pat?.
At this stage in her career, Bullock was not a house-hold name, and for the most part was very much a bit-part player. However, it was here in the 1980s that she began to find her feet, paving the way for a much bigger career to come.

The 1990s proved to be a big decade for Bullock, and in terms of making movies, it was also her busiest. Between 1992 and 1999, she appeared in a whopping 20 movies, which to date is the most amount of films she has released in one decade.

2000s

Into the ‘00s and Bullock’s career continued to flourish. She appeared in pictures such as Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, Two Weeks Notice and Crash.
One of her most iconic roles in this decade was in 2000’s Miss Congeniality, where she played the role of FBI Agent Gracie Hart. She later reprised the role for the 2005 sequel, Miss Congeniality 2: Armed & Fabulous.

2010s

Heading into the 2010s and Bullock continued to appear in movies, but with a little less frequency. There was still very much a desire to see Bullock on screen, and certainly an audience for her, but the actress began to reduce her workload and become more selective in her projects.
Some of her most notable films during this time included The Heat, Gravity, and Ocean’s Eight. The actress also scored a big hit with Netflix, via the thriller, Bird Box.
